How does this support blood sugar?
Chickpeas are a rich source of dietary fiber, particularly soluble fiber. Soluble fiber dissolves in water to form a gel-like substance in the digestive tract. This gel slows down the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, including sugars, leading to a more gradual increase in blood sugar levels atter meals.
