I studied Nursing for 2 years, and during that time, I gained immense respect for Nurses and the healthcare industry. The dedication and energy they bring to their work are truly inspiring. However, after several hospital placements, I realized something crucial—I wasn’t in the right place.
Every day after my shifts, I found myself in tears, overwhelmed by the sterile environment and the challenges faced by both patients and staff. I knew deep down that my passion for helping people needed a different path.
Why Naturopathy?
When I saw the lack of attention to diet and lifestyle in hospital care, it struck me. I knew the power of food and lifestyle changes could transform lives. So, I made a bold move—I left Nursing and pursued Naturopathy.
And Holist was born!
At Holist, we believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. We know that true healing comes from looking at the bigger picture, considering how everything is interconnected.
If you share this belief or are curious about Holistic Health, you’re in the right place! We hope to inspire you to look at health with an open mind and a fresh perspective.

Growing up my mum did most of the cooking, she made a lot from scratch but also had the jarred sauces ready to go. She kept the family well fed and being a hungry teenage boy I wasn’t perfect and basically ate anything in sight! We had cereal for almost every breakfast except weekends (bacon and eggs), drinking energy drinks with my friends after school and pies, so many pies…
It wasn’t until I was about when I was 19, I moved in with my brother who is a Personal Trainer and we would talk about food and nutrition in the kitchen for hours! It wouldn’t be rare that we talked for about 4-5 hours straight lol! He taught me how to eat, how to train properly and the importance of balance in my life.
